Feeling Like A Fraud? Perfect.
We’ve been sold a strange idea:
That courage means I feeling no fear.
That belief means us never doubting.
That determination means we always feel sure.
But that’s just fucking false
Bravery ONLY exists in the presence of fear.
If there’s no fear, it’s just motion.
Will is only will when temptation is real.
If there’s no pull to do the opposite, it’s just a task.
Determination only counts when doubt is whispering, no, SCREAMING in your ear.
Belief only matters when it has something pushing against it.
And “fake it til you make it”?
It’s not fake if what you’re holding onto… is belief.
So
Don’t feel bad for feeling lazy.
Or afraid.
Or doubtful.
Those feelings themselves don’t make you weak for feeling them.
They make your action actually mean something.
When you move forward anyway, you are living proof of bravery, determination, and ambition.
Not because you didn’t feel fear or doubt—
but BECAUSE you felt them…
and still did it.
It’s okay to be hard on yourself,
So long as you own the wins just as much, no matter how small.
